The filth worked for Barrow in Niamina West. The ground still festers with the stench of mischief and maneuvers that displayed the kind of money politics Gambia has never seen. Our people’s poverty became the mockery chip for Barrow to dangle cash superiority in a runway fashion.
But Niamina West is like a hamlet to Brikama and Serrekunda. It will take the NPP billions to buy these two political nuclei of Gambia’s power concentration. Please flex bigger financial muscles, Mr. Barrow. Western Division alone is over 680,000. To buy them, you do the math. I don’t have time!
But the opposition need no sense of complacency, please. I spoke to them well before the elections. And I’ve been telling Gambians that the one throwing stones in our country and hiding his hands isn’t Adama Barrow—it’s France and Senegal.
These two would never want Barrow to relinquish power because an intelligent, nationalistic, and pragmatic Gambian would kick their devilish interests out of our country. So, they’d pump millions to retain power in The Gambia. Any Gambia who can’t understand this has an IQ less than that of a housefly!
And the best way to remain in the Gambia is to divide its people and let them fight. That’s why we shouldn’t allow such division. We’ve published over and over that the opposition has to form a coalition. If you cannot, by now, see what I’ve been warning about, there’s no need for me to call myself a Gambian anymore!
