Minor changes took place recently at the national intelligence agency. One Ousman Darbo who was the head of intelligence at the Banjul international airport has now been redeployed to NBD as director while Pa Modou Manka from the agency’s headquarters in Banjul was tipped to replace Darbo at the airport.
We don’t know what prompted this minor changes at the agency but word in town is ” there’s a lot of drug transit from the airport into the country in recent times. There’re very dangerous security lapses here at the airport and anything can happen here because if you’re loaded with cash no nobody questions you. This is the new Gambia we’ve found ourselves in,” sources said.
