Omar Badjie’s family was said to have rejected the money delivered to them by Interior Minister Abdoulie Sanyang and his delegation on behalf of President Adama Barrow Sunday.

“We’ve told them (the government) categorically clear that we’re not interested in the money. We want justice to prevail in the cold-blooded murder of our son, a family member stated.”

We told you yesterday Barrow was planning to visit Mandinary today Sunday, September 28^th to deliver his usual empty promises and fake inquiries series of which he claimed for similar occurrences earlier. And we mentioned that he might change his mind following our scoop.

Well, a leopard never changes his spots. He did change his mind. He then sent his delegation. We listened to the so-called religious rhetoric of some speakers saying the death of Omar Badjie was Allaah’s doing! Really?

A serious problem in Gambia’s religious circles is that some so-called scholars misunderstand “Qadr” and Allaah’s decision/desire. Here is a simple example for any thinking person: If someone comes to your house, attacks and kills your mother, r{pes your wife and daughter; will you sit by and say, well since Allaah is the master of everything, this is his wish or decision.

See, this is one of the reasons we continue to have evil and cruel leaders in Africa. Going by their low-IQ logic, even Satan can tell Allaah, well, it’s your decision and will that I became Satan and disobeyed you. So, let me off the hook!

Or Pharaoh can similarly claim he did all his wrongs because Allaah willed it! When the crusaders were attacking and killing Muslims, Christians, and Jews in the Holy Land, they also claimed, “God wills it!” But did He?

We bet if this murder victim was actually a favorite son or daughter of one of Barrow’s emissaries talking to Omar Badjie’s family Sunday, he would have forgotten the so-called “Allaah’s wish!”
