The latest comer on Gambia’s online broadcast scene has acquired new radio equipment, we can happily reveal. forGambia radio will be running regular shows on issues affecting The Gambia and Africa at large as needed, according to founder Ebrima Papa Colley.

“This has been part of a long-term goal, but time has always been a serious challenge, retorted Mr. Colley. “When time permits, we’ll come on air. When it doesn’t, we’ll apologize to our listenership. I feel like running a single segment or, perhaps a couple can be a challenge for someone having his hands in many things,” added Colley. “But this isn’t about Colley or one individual. This is about our Gambia. It’s forGambia! When we’re tired, perhaps kids from Nusrat, St. Augustine’s, or Gambia High School will take over and do a better job,” he mentioned.

 On giving a glimpse of such programming, Mr. Colley quickly states, “I want to make it clear that even my own family members won’t be spared if they commit excesses against Gambia or her people. I speak of Barrow, Darboe, Yahya, and Jawara in the spirit of national interest. Someone should speak about me and to me in the same spirit, especially where I go wrong,” Colley concluded.
