Gambia Ports Authority Boss Ousman Jobarteh arrested, in police custody facing interrogations after arriving back in the country...

Gambia Ports Authority Director, Ousman Jobarteh is currently in police hands after being arrested earlier Tuesday, November 11th 2025, connected sources informed forGambia News.

Jobarteh, confidants say even shook the President’s hands as he departed for his D52 million wastrel—a political jamboree in the well-chided guise of a “meet-the-farmers-tour.”

This is a developing story and we will keep you abreast. Few days ago, we spoke to Jobarteh when he was outside the country. We warned him not to return to The Gambia. We informed him of the intelligence we received about malignant conspirators and co-conspirators.

We know the name of the lead conspirator. But we told Jobarteh on the phone just days ago, that we don’t want him to fight with the chief conspirator. Our sources say Works Ministry has been archetypical in current moves against Jobarteh.

Further, we also reported just weeks ago that Turkish Albayrak and some Gambians have been conspiring against Jobarteh. You can follow that story here:

Breaking: Albayrak, Works Ministry Allegedly Trying to Remove Jobarteh from Ports… – forGambia News

The reaction at the GPA as we publish this is terrific. Staff are reportedly throwing themselves on the floor in cries following their boss’s arrest. Albayrak wanted to use Gambia’s Port as a quasi-personal property collateral to secure foreign loans.

But the Turks aren’t alone in the dethroning maneuvers against Jobarteh. They have Gambian collaborators. One day, we hope to tell you the full story. These are the type of Gambians/Africans that collaborated with slave raiders to enslave fellow Africans!

The Interrogation...

Can you imagine they are asking Jobarteh if he is the one furnishing information to forGambia News. Wollaahi, by Allaah’s name, Jobarteh isn’t giving us anything! Please “Baayi len Domi Jamburr!”

We aren’t desperate for information. When you squeeze innocent taxpayers their pocket coins, destroy their farms and markets, arrest their protesting children, shoot some to death; do you reckon it’s going to be rocket science to push those same taxpayers to divulge information?

Also, does your cerebral cortex really convince you that forGambia News is a random guy as arrogantly claimed by your information minister to the Senegalese media recently? It will be very unwise of us to give you clues. Please stay in the dark with your thoughts.

If you know who some of our assets really are, you’ll flee from your own shadows. Even an eight-grader can follow our stories and fathom that our canary in the coal mine voices are a force to reckon with.

Meanwhile, a nephew of Adama Barrow was brought to the Ports as Deputy Managing Director. His name is Ousainou Johm. Ousainou’s sister is Rohey Johm-Manjang, Minister of Forestry & Environment.

Rohey Johm-Manjang’s husband is now the Deputy Managing Director at Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation. The Managing Director of Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation is Mr. Malang who is also related to Barrow, according to our sources.

So, now Gambia, from Jawara to Yahya Jammeh, to Adama Barrow, do you think this country will go forward with these kinds of insider-inner circle intrigues at the expense of poor taxpayers? Mr. Ousainou Johm, we were told has zero experience related to his current executive position.

But Barrow is wasting your tax-payer money to convince you that he cares about your hospitals that lack very basic supplies. We leave you with this Nietzsche quote: “Convictions are worse enemies to the truth than lies.”
