Fresh tips reaching forGambia News say a top echelon associate at Gambia’s Ministry of Works is colluding with the embattled Turkish company Albayrak to remove Ousman Jobarteh from his position at the Gambia Ports. We know the name of the alleged conspirator, but will choose to withhold publishing it for now.

Albayrak, our insiders say has a lot of Gambian bought-offs in a grand scheme against their own Gambian blood. In fact, they give free holiday tickets to the cheap souls to Turkey just to purchase loyalty.

Luckily for Jobarteh, our sources say, the President is still on his MankaMang Kunda vacation and too tied with holidaying to listen to the Jobarteh conspirators and co-conspirators.

As can be easily recalled, The Gambia Ports used to send Gambians for maritime courses overseas. Sources say that has now stopped. Further, the Ports used to offer medical school scholarships to medical students similar to United States entry-level fresh from high school.

All the Ports required was five credits including English and Math. But that has also stopped thanks to the inept Barrow gov’t and its mortgaging of our key national treasures to multinationals and sometimes furtive special interests.

On August 9th 2019, we published an exclusive interview with Ousman Jobarteh where we drew his attention to the coveted re-export trade our Gambian media seldom talk about thanks to poor academics and lack of depth.

Jobarteh was more than eloquent and professionally efficacious. When we asked him why the gov’t wouldn’t consider moving the GPA to Tanji or Sanyang for deep-sea anchorage, he replied such venture was fiscally far-fetched, quoting a hypothetical D500 million at the time.

Poverty and extremely low score on Human Development Index has besotted Gambians to the extent that most media houses don’t understand what to focus on. Consequently, they publish rubbish from low-IQ charlatans when young Ebrima Traore of Burkina Faso is courting the historical process itself.

Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Chad, etc., are landlocked countries. They don’t have ports. They depend on countries like Gambia for trade. We mentioned on Freedom Radio what Western powers understand the maritime “niche” and providence God accorded to tiny Gambia. It is called re-export trade discussion of which we pioneered in Gambian media circles since 2017.

This together with our geopolitics has been an unmatched “comparative advantage” we never fully utilize, thanks to Adama Barrow’s uncanny subservience to Macky Sall.

We warned with our tears that this was going to ruin Gambia and her people. Today, not just double-digit inflation, but healthcare cost, raising family, access to quality education, and many other markers have all become visceral indignations, and sometimes modifiable death sentences.

For centuries, the British Empire ruled the world. It inherited Rome and  heralded present day United States. And your IQ can’t tell you there has to be a pressing reason for this empire the “Sun never set on” to fight and kick out other European powers for control over precious Gambia?

You won’t know this if you spend your precious time on “Jekks” and Wally Seck shows. There is a second Scramble and Partition of Africa going on. Its Berlin Conference isn’t announced this time.

Worse, even non-Westerners have a stake in it. What a pain to be part of a people a preponderance of whom gets anaphylaxis from critical thinking. But their dopamine level shoots through the roof at Wally Seck and other musicians’ waste-of-atoms-and-space shows!
