O.J MAKING A COMEBACK TO AGRICULTURE?

"BA TAMBEDOU'S SEAT IN LIMBO," sources say

By Ebrima Papa Colley (Gambiano)

Reports reaching this medium say Omar A. Jallow, preferably O.J, is making a comeback to the Barrow cabinet as agriculture minister. The same reports say there is tension between President Adama Barrow’s emissaries at the State House. An imam is said to be involved in the tension. Our sources, as of now, do not favor disclosure of the name of the said imam.
According to the same sources, Aboubacar Ba Tambedou’s position as justice minister, is said to be in limbo as we go to press. Reports say there is a serious mistrust between the Barrow State House and Ba Tambedou. “I can confirm to you for certain that his days are numbered,” a source said.
We reported last week that another major cabinet reshuffle was in the making in the Barrow administration where everything, except lavish spending is holding Gambia to a ramshackle. We challenged the government to dispute our sources.
We rely on the simple commonsense, not genius, that perhaps ordinary Gambians are the ones to be kept in the dark. But Barrow and his co-religionists know if we are reporting the truth about the latest developments in their midst.
We sincerely remind our readers that this is a developing story. We hope to keep you posted as best as we can. Earlier, we received tips that the Barrow administration has secured the services of some foreign company to monitor calls and internet activities of Gambians.
The details include accessing the contact list of Gambians through Gamtel, to see who is communicating with who, or who is sending what information to who. To that, we say good luck to the Barrow administration and stay put to the poor Gambians whose daily bread remains “a bun on some sky-high shelf.”
The mission of forGambia is clear. We want a better Gambia for the poor—those Gambians whose nation is rich in resources, but still remain hungry, unhealthy and undereducated. We want Gambia for Gambians first as it is in many countries today. And with that, we see neither family, nor friend or relative. We see only justice in guiding our actions!
