NPP's Fabou Sanneh

Another NPP career liar, Mr. Fabou Sanneh, Sunday told the people of Foni Bullock that Ahmad Gitteh and some other people are going to be deported to Cassamance because the UDP believes he (Gitteh) is not a Gambian. Sanneh was speaking at an NPP poorly attended rally where he struggled to sketch a nasty image of UDP in a forced effort to paint it as tribalist.

His weak attempts were mainly centered on the United Democratic Party, instead of a single benefiting project Barrow and his gov’t have brought to Foninkas. If you remember, just few days ago, we published a headline about NPP liars and the lies they tell. We also shed light on their lying methodology, in that they usually say the opposite of what is really happening.

Quite curious is Mr Sanneh’s deliberate efforts to make Bullock people believe that the UDP is out for violence. He feebly compared such scenario to Rwanda’s Tutsis, and failed woefully to correctly name the Tutsis, whom he called “Hutsis”!

It is Barrow’s gov’t that has been up for violence, even against peaceful demonstrators whose permit was approved and were marching very peaceful. It was agents of Barrow’s gov’t who attacked them, hurled stones at them, broke jaws, arrested the innocent and threw them to Mile II on bogus charges.

Yes, bogus charges they couldn’t defend. Still, they violated their human rights for over a year. They even rearrested them when the courts freed them. Now, this is an example of what breeds violence in a country!

Like we did earlier, here are the facts that are easily proven because we are all seeing them as we put this story together: It is actually the Barrow gov’t that has been practicing violence and tribalism, especially against Jolas and the people of Foni. We have written and published numerous examples.

How many times did the Barrow gov’t open fire in Foni, and even killed innocent civilians? In fact, they opened fire on our youth in Faraba, not too far from Foni. Their partners-in-crime, Macky Sall’s forces opened fire again in Foni last March! Who’s really advocating violence or the “Hutsi” situation?

It’s not the UDP that’s denying selected Gambians their birthrights, especially in the case of Omar Sarjo, who is kicked out of the army for being a Jola. It’s the Barrow gov’t that has taken Sarjo to court, lying that he’s a son to MFDC leader in Cassamance, a claim they still can’t prove.

Fabou was lying that the UDP threatens those that aren’t UDP sympathizers and paint them as non-Gambian. ” Peace has arrived in your right hand. But there are those that want to put it to your left.

If you allow that change and replacement of Adama Barrow’s governing style, and you give it to vengeful others, some of you sitting here will have to go back to Cassamance because you’re not UDP supporters. And if you’re not UDP supporter, even if you’re Mandinka, you’re not a pure Mandinka. If you’re a Gambian, but not a UDP supporter, your citizenship isn’t pure,” Mr. Sanneh lied.

He continued that opposing Barrow means telling God he didn’t know what he was doing when He gave us Barrow out of many. Fabou spent a great deal of time opposing Jammeh. Using his present logic, was Jammeh given to us by Satan and that’s why he (Fabou) opposed him and now asking Gambians not to oppose Barrow today?

Fabou was trying to pit Foni Jolas against UDP with lies that Barrow is employing Jolas. No, Fabou!!! Barrow fired Jolas from the civil service, arrested a lot of them, and just few days ago released the WhatsApp Group just for political gains. The group was arrested and detained since 2017.

It was Barrow’s gov’t that has put Senegalese forces in Foni, still harassing innocent Foninkas.

They shot and killed Haruna Jatta and still, no investigation as if Haruna’s life was not even worth a fly’s. Barrow and Macky Sall still have checkpoints in Foni, with very hostile and wicked Senegalese soldiers persecuting innocent Foninkas.

When one old man found his cow being slaughtered by the same Senegalese forces, they detained him and forced him to “monkey dance.” The old man couldn’t walk properly back to his house. It was the Foni youngsters that explained to him what monkey dance was and how it strains muscles.
