It looks like everything Hamat Bah touches as far as leadership goes, he destroys it! What did we achieve under Hamat Bah when he was minister of tourism except loses, abuse of office, rudeness or acting tough when so fragile and afraid of investigation? He ruined tourism! He ruined Lands! He is now ruining our Hajj.  

1. Sale of Monkey park
2. De-reservation of Abuko Nature Reserve in order to sell the land or parts of it.
3. Terrible Hajj Year right now as we type these thanks to him taking over.
4. Alleged involvement in the buying of Yahya Jammeh’s cattle at give-away prices.
5. Alleged travel corruption (Gambia Tourism paying for undeserved travel expenses of the Ministry of Tourism’s useless travel expenses).
6. Interfering in land deals along TDA.
7. Wasting millions on nation-wide trek with zero benefit for the country.
8. His own son working at GT when he is the minister of tourism; he frowned at legislators when they asked him question, acting tough when he is so fragile and scared of any serious investigation; he threatened to sue Mustapha K. Darboe, vowing that he had already spoken to his lawyer. We are still waiting for him!
9. Alleged fuel allocation corruption.
10. Speculations of Hamat owning property and businesses in Senegal and some other places, thinking that he could hide his ill-gotten investments.
11. Hamat’s alleged involvement in the corrupt allocation of land specifically marked for the Chief Justice on Atlantic Road to President Adama Barrow! If this move wasn’t transactional to his position as a-never-touched minister, we wonder what else is! Is Hamat more of a liability to Barrow and Gambia than a useful technocrat or capital? 
12. He reportedly laid the foundation stone for eco lodges but later claimed no knowledge of the contracts when quizzed! He played dumb to how the contract was awarded to Lerr Group, a company the Gambia government had past negative experiences with.
13. Hamat also areportedly helped waive levies for MOAB Capital and Kaijiang Holding Group costing our gov’t a tune of $450,000.00 (four hundred and fifty-thousand Dollars).
14. Jackie Josephine Ashante and Fatou Sowe campaigned for the NPP according to Hamat and were brought to GT Board consequently. Isn’t this a quid-pro-pro? Hamat has a lot to answer whenever Gambia assumes serious governance!
