Imam Ba-Kawsu Fofana Tweet
The outspoken Imam Ba-kawsu Fofana, Friday on the line from Banjul said “I’m appealing to President Adama Barrow to live up to his promise and hand over power peacefully at the end of his three years transition government.”
The Imam said it’s the only way that can avoid the country plunging into political chaos and mistrust. He said it can also bring him international respect and admiration than following his selfishness to remain in power.
Imam Fofana said leaders, including imams should always live up to expectations with high regard because “people look at us as role models.”
The Imam further said the coalition was brought to bring the country together in unity against president Jammeh’s dictatorship and that greed and selfishness should not damage this cause and should be jealously guarded for the peace and stability of the country.
