GAMBIANS READY TO TAKE COUNTRY BACK FROM CORRUPT, TREACHEROUS, AND TRAITOR ADAMA BARROW!

The crowds of hundreds of thousands of Gambians thronging the streets from villages to the cities in the Kombos and finally to Lawyer Ousainou Darboe’s Pipeline residence is indicative of centralized messaging: Gambians that have been denied birthright resources and basic social services have been wounded enough to reclaim their country from Adama Barrow, the traitor that has mortgaged our country to Senegal, Macky Sall, and other special interests. They are ready to reclaim their sovereignty from a president that would rather fly to check on that Macky Sall’s wellbeing than pay a timely visit to the grieving family of his own late IGP Mamour Jobe, or a single Gambian military Barrack since he came to power and as commander-in-chief.

Yes, they are ready to reclaim their country from a president that has never visited a Gambian hospital to see how dilapidated our health service delivery has become or what exactly poor families are grappling with in dire conditions where even gloves are rationed for doctors and nurses. Reader, we repeat this again, that:

Our hospitals ration gloves! And what about oxygen, a basic breathing drug for patients which comes in tanks and other simple containers? Oxygen is more expensive than gloves. Gambians have, by now lost too many loved ones due to lack of oxygen tanks this president refused to furnish from our tax payer money—the same money he flaunts, trying consistently to buy people or trucks and buses for his abominable NPP.

No, Gambians have been too bruised not to come out in those hundreds of thousands to send alarums to a callous, treacherous, and disinterested president who never visits their key problems, but would rush to visit Macky Sall when the later felt scared of a mass uprising in Senegal this past March.

Reader, we weep and lament with the mother of Gibril Ceesay of Sanyang as well as the youths of Sanyang who were rounded up and arrested by the only president who would rather fight for culprits than victims. We cry with the people of Sanyang as the murderer of their son is still hidden from justice by his protector president.

We cry our tonsils out for our law enforcement and traffic police who were hit with vans by saucy Senegalese drivers, not once, on Gambian soil while on duty. We also lament with our poor families whose breadwinners were chased across our borders, kidnapped and taken to Senegal by armed Senegalese men while our president giggles.

We also wail with our GNA soldiers who, for the past five years have been scorned and disrespected by a president who has been wasting our taxpayer money on foreign security apparatus, sending clear signals that he doesn’t want our men and women in uniform around him and his family!

We also send our complaints to Allaah about the provocative Senegalese military that has been crossing our borders in Kombo Darsilameh and elsewhere, trying to provoke a battle with our disarmed GNA personnel whose weapons were earlier seized and smuggled to Senegal.

No, Gambians have suffered enough gashes from a president not to come out in yesterday’s multitudinous screamers to welcome a symbol of change and replacement for a president that has leased our marine resources to Senegal and E.U for tokens, while our hungry mothers, sisters, our young and old in impoverished families face the unpatriotic status quo where seriously poor diets augment other health comorbidities.

No, Gambians have witnessed too many sisters and mothers die in poor hospitals where doctors tell families “If you don’t bring blood here in the next thirty minutes, your loved one will die.” And die did so many a young mother from very preventable circumstances such as lack of blood or electricity. The streets have spoken! Even our dead have!

It’s time to stop the dizzying heights of corruption, the never investigated and mysterious deaths of our loved ones, sometimes with genitals brutally cut out. It’s time to stop the high rates of murder, a phenomenon we’ve never seen in our precious Gambia before this president. It’s time to stop the kind of killings in Faraba where youths were murdered simply because this president wants to sell or destroy our farm lands as has been done in Sanyang by corrupt companies like GACH.

Again, Abubacar Jawar’s GACH is protected by our corrupt president while our mothers’ faros and farmlands aren’t. It will be a cardinal sin not to mention Golden Lead, another destroyer of our marine life and environment. But like GACH in Sanyang with black sand, or Julakay in Faraba that led to the shooting and killing of three youths of the village, Golden Lead is provided state security while thieves break into Gambian homes, stab and murder innocent family bread winners because there is no public security.

He is inviting foreign presidents such as Macky Sall and Bissau’s Embalo under the guise of an OMVG meeting. The real reason is an indirect campaign signal and show of solidarity which boils down to a mass psychology move. Remember how he raged at Gambians for guarding our voters’ cards when he direly tried to register foreigners?

Every move of Adama Barrow is only bringing the opposition together! His co-conspirators in the dismissed APRC executive of FTJ, Rambo, Dodou Jah, etc., became a self-inflicting wound. We had been trumpeting that FJC and his team had been selling APRC to Barrow, and they kept denying it! And Barrow’s Sukuta gaffe spilled the bigger beans when he leaked what him and FJC have been discussing since 2017! Reader, the suffering of poor families alone can force Adama Barrow to inadvertently leak secrets!

With these few vignettes, we humbly ask: HAS THIS PRESIDENT BEEN THERE FOR GAMBIANS OR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS? It’s time to vote out a president that, on record and camera, tells the world how he dug graves to put amulets under corpses—corpses of who? The same Gambians he’s claiming to serve today! No wonder he has no sympathy for them! He who never has any sympathy for our dead won’t have any for our living because the living can speak or fight back—but the dead can’t! VOTE HIM OUT AND TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK!
