BORRA COLLEY, SANNA MANJANG RESPOND

L-Sanna R-Borra
A  trio of audio files reaching forGambia News release statements from Borra Colley and Sanna Manjang currently at large in the wake of serious allegations that the duo participated in heinous crimes against Gambians during the Yahya Jammeh era. forGambia cannot confirm the veracity of neither the photo, nor the audio records linked to the duo.
The first speaker, allegedly Borra Colley could be heard laughing and saying, “Ehh, I said, here I’m, sitting in the mosque. You know I fast. Today I’m fasting. I’m sitting at the mosque. Calls are constantly coming in, people texting me, many things are being said (laughter). Ehh Alhamdu Lillaah! But God is great! Insha Allaah the evil they’re wishing, may Allaah direct it back to them. Hasbunallaah wa ne’emal wakeel. We’re all putting our trust in only Allaah. Kaddy, here I’m, sitting at the mosque. This is why everyone in The Gambia is contacting me about the same word. But here we’re, sitting at the mosque. Since I came for the  noon prayer, I didn’t return home. We do remain here till late evening prayer time, then go home, especially today. We fast every Monday and Thursday. Today I’m fasting. Here I’m at the mosque, not home, insha Allaah. I’m here with Sanna Manjang, the one they said I’ve been arrested together with. He’s the one sitting with me right now.” At this point, a voice of a second speaker became audible, as if the speaker was responding to Borra’s claim of sanna’s presence at his side. It said, “Tell them….”
The second voice was cut before its full sentence, starting with “Tell them.” Relatives and friend circles of both Borra and Sanna, may perhaps be in a position to verify the above photo.
It is not to our knowledge if the Barrow administration is in contact with Interpol for an arrest warrant for the duo. Nor is it to our knowledge the efficacy of any desire, effort, or keen interest in ensuring apprehension of any fugitives wanted by the laws of the Gambia, if not the government.
