Mr. Alagie Sanyang, a resident of Lamin is claiming a bribery move by APRC’s Rambo Jatta who called him for a personal meeting where he sought Sanyang’s help to “destroy M.A Bah.” The encounter took place Monday night around 9pm local time at Lamin Jah Oil.
“I got a phone call from Rambo who said he wanted us to meet. But prior to his call, it was another person that first called and asked for my location. Then Rambo called and I agreed to meet him because of [the bragging that Rambo Jatto Jatta is a lion]. And anybody who knows me understands how fearless I am,” Mr. Sanyang stated in a video sent to forGambia.
He continued that when he arrived at the location mentioned by Rambo [Jah Oil in Lamin], I found him there and we spoke. He told me, “You’re close to M.A Bah and Hon. Jerending Sanyang. Politics is about individual gain. This Yahya Jammeh you’re all clamoring isn’t ever going to set foot in The Gambia again. In fact, that Yahya Jammeh is currently sick; that’s why he’s not even talking anymore.”
Mr. Sanyang added that Rambo, at this point promised him D1 million and to show his seriousness, handed him D30,000.00 cash and promised him a one million Dalasi grand total if he does his bidding. That bidding is to destroy M.A Bah, a guy that has joined hands with patriotic APRC diehards to resist Rambo Jatta, FTJ, Borry Colley, Dodou Jah and other party execs’ move to sell Jammeh’s 22 year once ruling APRC party to money-dangling and super-corrupt Adama Barrow and his NPP.
In Mr. Sanyang’s direct words from his conversation with Rambo Jatta Monday night, “Rambo told me you’re close to M.A Bah and Hon. Jerending Sanyang and you have clout in the Busumbala constituency. He told me I’m the only person that can destroy M.A Bah and Hon. Jerending Sanyang.” Ramo doesn’t have a job. Where will he get D1 million!
If you recall, Hon. Madi Ceesay told Kerr Fatou how Hon. Saikou Marong of NPP brought him money from Barrow to buy him out. Saikou Marong, the idiot denied it saying, where’s your evidence? He knew fully well Madi may not have it on video or third-party witnessing. This is why Mr. Alagie Sanyang’s show of the money live on camera is seriously important!

The NPP is using the same money dangling to buy the people of Foni, but without much success. The Bondali meeting has raised questions by Foni natives talking to forGambia: Why didn’t they interview people in the crowd just like any other political rally?” They know very well the secrets will be out if they interview people in the crowd.
Also, Barrow has handed D200,000.00 to some people in Foni Sintet area to buy support. If you recall, sometime in 2020, Barrow borrowed supporters from Senegal, some of whom spoke on camera, unequivocally stating that it was President Barrow that called them to boost his rally.
This is because the people of Foni have been refusing to come out for the failing president. Using sell-out APRC execs has been happening for a while now. But the APRC grassroot has been a serious obstacle, especially since the illegal military occupation of Foni and very hostile militarization of the area and its innocent people, the shooting and killing of Foni natives by Senegalese military, stealing and slaughtering of livestock of poor Foni farmers, impregnation of many Foni girls by hostile Senegalese forces, seizing of farm lands to establish military camps, dismissal, arrest and illegal detention of family bread-winners of Foni men who served in the army, and the case of Omar Sarjo of Karbekel, a satellite of Marakissa and Brikama where the Barrow gov’t lacked any proof that Sarjo is really son to Salif Sarjo of MFDC.
Another recent example of the APRC grassroot resistance occurred in the same Omar Sarjo native area of Karbekel and Marakissa where APRC supporters verbally attacked the sell-out execs at a party meeting for trying to sell them to Barrow. Adama Barrow doesn’t care or listen to Gambians. He listens to Macky Sall who is an arch enemy of Yahya Jammeh. Let’s see how Barrow can win majority of APRC supporters!
