If a simple gathering is done by opposition or gov’t opponents, the Barrow gov’t promptly sends a battalion to spray them with tear gas. If poor market women put together hard-earned Dalasis to pay a carpenter for a poor table for their poor merchandise, the Barrow gov’t sends battle-ready soldiers to attack and  destroy their tables, goods, and arrest them!

And what’s the crime of those market women? Trying to earn a living by selling okra or “fogah jaayi.” But “Becheg” sons and “Silakandingos” can keep terrorizing a nation and the useless, good-for-nothing gov’t won’t do anything efficacious to stop these haram offsprings!

A “becheg” kid, we all know is the one whose mother was impregnated by the “becheg” guys. In other lexicons, they are called street kids. No wonder they are in the streets, breaking the legs of innocent kids. A street kid will only be a street kid! No pun intended! “Becheg,” “haram” bloods!

Gambians aren’t safe in their homes! Gambians aren’t safe in their streets! Gambians aren’t safe on their farms! But so-called ECOMIG, a regime-protecting parasite is there to keep the regime in power for these “Becheg” kids to break the legs of innocent kids with glee!

Why doesn’t the Barrow gov’t  go after evil or destructive individuals such as  drug dealers, vulture killers, etc., but wields its might against good things i.e., blocking Talib Bensouda from building a road or preventing Yankuba Darboe from doing his good work? Why doesn’t this gov’t go after evil, corrupt officials stealing our billions or simply go after these “Becheg” bloods?

The first job of a gov’t is to protect life and property and maintain peace and security. But Gambia is secure for only the regime, its ministers and favorites. Any gov’t that fails to protect life and property isn’t fit to continue. 

If Barrow can’t do this basic thing, why is he there or even dreaming of staying there? The Lord that created the heavens and earth and commands justice and truth will humiliate Adama Barrow, his gov’t, and supporters; and He will judge between Gambians and Barrow!
