The Qur’aan talks specifically about Allaah’s House and the light that abounds there in Surat Nuur. The same surah talks about the types of men who benefit from that light in that House of Nuur. An evil doer, mischief maker, liar, and a wicked person cannot feel comfortable, at all, in such House of Light!
A masjid is supposed to be a place of tranquility and peace of mind for the worshipper. But for Adama Barrow, Hamat Bah, and their co-religionists, it’s something else as is clearly evidenced by the above picture!
You can’t suck the blood of Gambians, allow them to perish in poor hospitals, or get stabbed to death by foreign assailants and still feel a mosque’s “tranquility.” A mosque or the House of Allaah isn’t for wicked mischief makers!
Hamat Bah, Adama Barrow, and their evil doers decided to dare Allaah after daring poor Gambians for almost five years. Please, look at the picture above and tell us this is how a real worshipper should look like in a House of Allaah!
As we type these, their government finally issued a release about the mass arrest of Sanyang youths. But in no paragraph does it stress the most important thing—the murder and loss of life of an innocent Gambian, Gibril Ceesay.
Almost every paragraph talks about the loss of property of the Senegalese people in Sanyang. But for God’s sake, a loss of property isn’t anywhere near a loss of life! The Senegalese people are also lamenting the loss of property.
No single interview shows neither the Senegalese media, nor the killer’s family, friends or acquaintances dropping a single tear for the sudden and gory loss of Gibril Ceesay. Only the people of Sanyang and Gambians are shedding tears for a man who didn’t die in an accident.
He was trespassed upon, attacked, and killed in an armed robbery. And because the sitting gov’t thinks it can’t survive without Macky Sall, not much is heard about the killer. We don’t even see him properly charged of all the various counts he deserves.
They’re indicting him for one count of murder—that’s it! What about armed robbery? What about forceful entry? What about assault? What about trespass? And the list goes on! This is a government that is encouraging Senegalese to rape Gambians and get away with it!
This is a gov’t that is encouraging Senegalese to rape our minors and later leave Scott-free for Senegal as happened in the case of the Senegalese High Commission employee who repeatedly raped a Gambian minor. Barrow and his gov’t gave him a blanket amnesty and smuggled him to Senegal.
This is a gov’t that encourages Senegalese commercial drivers to run over our Gambian security at Gambian checkpoints and get away with it! This is a gov’t that encourages Senegalese commercial drivers to verbally assault our Gambian personnel at our bridges while refusing to pay toll fees!
This is the same gov’t that sells our Tanji fish resources to a Senegalese company to deplete our marine resources, ushering in acute and chronic fish shortages and the resultant sky-rocketing fish prices. This is the same gov’t that encourages Senegalese armed men to chase and shoot Gambians on Gambian soil, kidnap them to Senegal!
This is the same gov’t that leaves our sisters to die in labor because our hospitals lack the basic supplies. But Hamat bah and others in the same gov’t build expensive houses in Dakar! These people can’t face Allaah and be comfortable in His House of Nuur!
In fact, Barrow was celebrating his birthday while the people he claims to serve and care for are hungry and dying while some are left at the mercy of hostile Senegalese drivers or lustful Senegalese rapists. Trust us, a good leader won’t celebrate a birthday in smiles or style while the following are happening to his poor and unserved people:
Unbearably high cost of living, unaffordable commodity prices in our markets; one fish costing a fortune for the average Gambia living under a Dollar a day.
Cocaine! (Lebanese Tajudeen’s case never pursued well and now Banta Keita’s ditto); as for Banta Keita, Barrow’s Congo visit when he first came to power speaks volumes about his connection with certain Serrahules; before someone shouts, “Tribalist,” I have Serrahule blood running in me; there are very good Serrahules out there; but that shouldn’t stop us from calling out rotten ones.
Please don’t forget the Kallilu Waggehs; Kallilu isn’t even a Gambian—why should he be flying with our president in his foreign trips that are official and governmental? Or why should he be donating a fleet of vehicles to our president, fly with him overseas, and then boom, another Serrahule guy brings a container of illegal arms in our country while another brings containers of cocaine?
No, Barrow and his gang can’t have a peace of mind in Allaah’s House while these have happened, are happening, or about to happen:
- Our young women dying in labor continuously.
- Lack of gloves, oxygen, blood, and other basic supplies in our hospitals.
- Dr. Samateh’s D115,000.00 monthly allowance while we lack oxygen in our poor hospitals.
- Adama Barrow’s D150,000.00 a day ‘Ndawal’ or fish money.
- Dr. Banja’s bribery, still nothing.
- Fisheries arson to burry evidence, yet still nothing.
- Henry Gomez and the diplomatic passport deals.
- Ba Tambadou giving diplomatic passport to family—abuse of office and no special session or hearing by the National Assembly.
- Janneh Commssion White paper has Mamburreh Njie and others, but only Sabally can be banned and punished.
- NPP openly inviting foreigners to cross into our indigenous politics, even threatening our immigration authorities if they refuse to open the borders; again, where was the National Assembly in calling a special session, especially when the NPP already showed videos of foreigners who already crossed our borders to boost Barrow’s Foni Sintet rally?
- The newly formed pressure group advocating for fraud-free election, but IEC’s Momar Njai threatening them which clearly speaks volumes; where is Momar Njai as NPP continues to bring foreigners to campaign for them in our country?
- Senegalese commercial drivers hitting our Gambian traffic police with vehicles.
- Senegalese diplomat raping a Gambian under-aged girl on Gambian soil.
- Senegalese army crossing into our borders, provoking our GNA multiple times.
- Senegalese vessels depleting our fish in Gambian waters, a phenomenon pushing local prices to sky-rocketing levels in our Gambian markets!
- The same Senegalese authorities detaining an underaged Gambian minor for a month for allegedly fishing in Senegalese waters.
- Barrow allocating more money to his State House expenses than our country’s entire agriculture budget; fishing is part of agriculture and vessels could have been bought for Gambian youths to create employment.
- Abubacarr Jawara’s gun smuggling and importation into poor Gambia; instead of putting him in jail, our police give him an award! But little boys are sent to jail for smoking a join!
- Barrow campaigning since last year during COVID, and still went ahead and launched his party, lying to Gambians that certain artists were coming to perform just to lure a crowd. Does he and the health minister really care about either Gambians or COVID?
