We hope that this publication will prompt not just a visit of lip-service to the fire scenes, but also an action of efficacy.When the Indian guy’s business was burnt in Kanifing months ago, Barrow did not send a minister. He marched there himself.
Months later, the Serrekunda Market was ravaged by another fire. But Barrow did not visit any scene, nor talk to local Gambians about major loses. And this was a market fire! Not one individual’s business!
