Gambia’s former president Yahya Jammeh has spoken to family members, saying he is healthier today than ever before. Family members of the former president spoke to forGambia News this morning, Thursday, September 2nd 2021. This paper was informed by Jammeh’s family that the former president called yesterday, Wednesday, September 1st 2021 to dispel claims that he is sick.
“He spoke to the family yesterday evening…He’ll soon talk. He’ll soon talk! We the family members know that he’s okay. He said there is nothing wrong with him and since the matter has been taken to the police, let us all take our time,” a family member (name withheld) told us in an interview minutes ago. The family member stated the former president said he was aware the case surrounding Rambo Jatta has been taken to the police already.
He further stated the former president said since the claim has been made to the police by Rambo Jatta, he wanted to know where the truth lies [with the Rambo Jatta case]. “He told us he is well and would want to know where the truth lies…Talk is cheap. I don’t even want to go far, a Jammeh family member told forGambia Thursday morning, American Central Time.”
Another relative of the former president told forGambia that Jammeh said he “is well and fine” and those saying he’s sick will probably die before him. This editor was told by the Jammeh family that the former president would come out later to speak.
As far as the current APRC executive and its furtive deals with President Adama Barrow are concerned, we have gathered more troubling bombshell. But we will not publish them for now. We too are waiting! Adama Barrow will promise and lie to Gambians or even those who picked him from the UDP.
But have you Gambians realized that Barrow doesn’t ever promise or lie to Macky Sall? And that Macky Sall has a sworn enmity with Yahya Jammeh and the people of Foni. This is the reason he said he alone can’t bring Jammeh back. What kind of president and commander-in-chief will tell his country he can’t make such a simple decision as head of a sovereign nation? His assertions were a Freudian slip that, “No, I have to seek permission from my boss, Macky Sall about a purely Gambian matter!”
And this current APRC executive is trying to tell the people of Foni to rally behind Adama Barrow and Macky Sall, men that have been oppressing the people of Foni in their own land, shooting and killing some of them? Keep trying harder. We at forGambia have audios from the people of Foni. What you suffered in Kombo Marakissa recently is little. Try Foni again and see!
