Another man in The Gambia has been brutally  murdered in cold blood, this time in Serrekunda. Information sent to us says the man was stabbed to his chest in the Westfield area, Serrekunda. We don’t know the deceased’s full name or other details. Voices claiming to know him said he was called “Sereign” and was a vendor of  a local coffee drink called Caffe Touba.” He was stabbed and killed Friday evening while holding a bag believed to be containing his earnings from work.

We have also been getting information that Barrow may not run in this highly crucial election in December. We can’t confirm this development. We can only deduce that the unpopular NPP has long since known that not even 15% of Gambians will vote for Barrow, a clear reason he vehemently fought against any referendum for the draft constitution.

He also launched an all-out against any bye-election in Brikama Area Council. Instead, he shoved down our throat a retroactive application of a local gov’t act that erased all possibility of Sheriffo Sonko facing an election challenge.

As for his much more serious election phobia, especially in December, it is clear his helplessness soars whenever groups, individuals, or associations defect to the opposition, especially the UDP which has been siphoning from his increasingly unpopular NPP.

Besides failing the most basics of his campaign promises, President Adama Barrow has been catering more to himself and puppet master Macky Sall than help Gambians walk safely and securely in their own country. Murder rates skyrocket as do commodity prices, making both life extremely hard for most Gambians.

Gambians continue to die in streets and their homes and Adama Barrow continues to show no care at all:

  1. Sereign (Last name still unknown), murdered for a bag he was carrying in Westfield area on Friday, May 14th 2021.
  2. Maram Jaw of Lamin Kerewan, murdered by a Senegalese in Mandinaring on May 11th 2021.
  3. Around April 6th 2018, a Gambian soldier, Corporal Baboucar MS Bah’s body was pulled from a well in Madiana while another man, Cherno Jammeh was stabbed to death in Bakau.
  4. Around December 31st 2020, the body of Alimatou Sarr of Tanji was found in the bushes. Her murderer, a Guinean national tried to escape back to his native country.
  5. Around April 25th 2021, another body of a man believed to be in his twenties was discovered in the woods of Brufut/Madiana road. It was tied in a bag and already decomposing.
  6. Around March 11th 2021, another body of a man was found decomposing in Nyambai Forest of Brikama.

  9. Around March 15th 2021, Gibril Ceesay was attacked and killed in his home in Sanyang by Senegalese Gana Sey. Nothing much is heard from the Barrow gov’t about this heart-wrenching incident except that 22 Gambian youths from the village of Sanyang were rounded up and imprisoned by the Barrow gov’t for simply protesting.
  10. Similarly, on June 18th 2018, three youths of Faraba were shot and killed by the Barrow gov’t for simply protesting against environmental destruction in their village.
  11. In June 2017, Haruna Jatta of Kanilai was shot and killed by Senegalese forces in Foni for simply protesting peacefully. Haruna never harmed or destroyed anything during his march. No investigation was mounted, nor any arrests made.
  12. In 2019, Ismaila Tamba, a commercial driver was shot by occupying forces at a checkpoint in Kanilai. No investigation, again, was launched into the shooting.
  13. In March 2021, hostile Senegalese forces opened fire in Foni again for no reason while across the border in Dakar, Macky Sall was hiding at an undisclosed location as the whole nation rose up against him in nation-wide protests! It was never Gambia or Foni’s fault that Senegalese masses were rising against Sall!
  14. Around November 22nd 2020, Yusupha Darboe was stabbed to death at Jokor Night Club in Brikama Nyambai.
  15. By February 24th 2021, up to three gruesome and unsolved murders took place in Niamina Kudang alone in just six months for a very small locality in The Gambia.
  16. Around April 7th 2021, bodies of Mary Mendy and Zeizon Gomez were found in a well in Busumbala. The gory scenes became a nation-wide concern as Mary’s private parts were slashed off.

WHY DO WE HAVE ECOMIG, THEN?

To protect Adama Barrow, his family, and Macky Sall’s interests in The Gambia! Or maybe just to scare our people with heavy military presence while there is absolutely no domestic security for the masses!

In short, ECOMIG is a political tool for Adama Barrow and Macky Sall! But Gambia pays them with money could have purchased basic supplies at our hospitals!

As long as Barrow gets his D150,000 daily fish money, D250,000 monthly salary, clothen allowance, travel per diems and other numerous perks, Gambians can go to hell or continue to perish in streets or even their homes! Ecomic isn’t there for Gambians!

It’s there to protect only Barrow and his gov’t. All the above victims of high crime rate met their untimely and, in some cases, mysterious deaths only less than five years into Barrow’s tenure.
