Please sue Abubacar Jawara and GACH for destroying the livelihood, environment, and possibly health of some of the world's poorest humans in The Gambian villages of Sanyang, Tujereng, Batokunku...
- Poor women who have been impoverished by corrupt policies of Adama Barrow have few options: (i) Vote Barrow out (ii) Live/struggle in generational poverty.
- When they voted in 2021 for one of the above, the result counting was paused under very dubious conditions only to create room for stealing.
- Now, the poor villages have no choice but to deal with the filth of injustice, cheating, and boundless corruption one of which is giving license to Abubacar Jawara to destroy their environment, subsistence farmland, the beautiful beach and its inherent ecosystem.
- But the destruction of cultivable land is worst of all. These women and local communities won’t be allowed to showcase their hunger and suffering in front of the president at State House. They won’t even be allowed to come close.
- But the Brikama Area Council can sue both Adama Barrow’s government and GACH mining company. Please read the cogent Republic’s article regarding Abubacar Jawara’s GACH and see for yourself.
- If poor people have been cheated in a major election and they couldn’t do anything while corruption galore, the same corrupt government and its accomplices should leave those same poor people’s little farmlands alone for them to earn their little bread and kids’ school fees.
- Please sue Abubacar Jawara and GACH and Adama Barrow’s government for serious damages.
- The National Assembly should have been the first to have summoned Abubacar Jawara, the Ministry of Health, The Ministry of Lands, etc. Please do this for your people who campaigned and shouted for you in the streets and “Bantabas.” Please look at what this corrupt government and its business cronies are doing to your poor people!
