AFTER COUP RUMORS?

Every time demands by intelligent Gambians gain momentum in calling for an end to Senegalese occupation of our country, some crazy event or rumor would emerge to prolong their stay!

Former security magnate in The Gambia, Lt. General Masanneh Kinteh was reportedly ushered into the country’s intelligence office in Banjul this morning as the corrupt regime and its Senegalese special interest groups continue to benefit from rumors in order to prolong their occupation of our country.

Confidants say Masanneh was brought for so-called “questioning”. In a farce of its nature, reports say, “he’d be sneaked-in through the back door and not even staff of the building would know.”

A mere rumor for simpletons prompted a press release reaction from the Gambian authorities. But intelligent minds would only spend a nano-second in self-quizzing with this: WHO’LL REALLY BENEFIT FROM ANY COUP ATTEMPT IN PRESENT DAY GAMBIA?

The answer is an undeniable laser to special interest groups, ranging from those who benefit from providing purchased security to President Adama Barrow to the Senegalese forces still occupying Gambia without any mandate from our people.

Making Gambians and Adama Barrow as paranoid as possible is a continuum of theater modules for these special interest groups while our people continue to live in a poverty of dizzying heights. African governments, in today’s world, seldom support or approve governments that occur through coups.

But each time Gambians respond to our long-call crusade of ending Senegalese occupation and exploitation of our rich, yet impoverished Gambia, some knee-jerk event or rumor would pop-up to fill our government and people with fear to justify an indefinite stay of their forces on our soil. Please think, Gambians!
