1. We got quite a disturbing tip we will, at this point treat as an allegation. The tip is alleging that suspected drifter dubbed “Daddy” is son of Gambia’s GRA boss Yankuba Darboe.
2. We urge Yankuba to come out and clear the air if this allegation is not true. Again, we reiterate our unequivocal position that we treat this information as an allegation until corroborated.
3. Yankuba Darboe is director of Gambia Revenue Authority (GRA).
4. Yankuba is the brother of Momodou Turo Darboe.
5. Some eye-witnesses alleged that they saw Turo Darboe at a police station where “Daddy was being held after hitting a lady food vendor in an alleged drifting spree these days.
6. The vehicle Daddy drifted with reportedly bore Turo Darboe’s registration name.
7. Turo allegedly came out with his version of how his name was connected to the car he reportedly gifted out earlier which became the one “Daddy” was caught with.
8. It is seriously curious why Turo never removed his name or any sort of identification or connection to a vehicle he didn’t own!
9. DADDY’S REAL NAME, ACCORDING TO THE TIP IS “ABUBACAR DARBOE.
10. We bear no grudge against the Turo and Yankuba Darboe family. But just recently did we publish another question as what exact business does Turo Darboe own inside or outside Gambia to earn him U.S $740, 000 he spent on Gambia’s planes others called Jammeh’s assets?
11. Turo’s name came out, just recently, and truthfully connected to the so-called “Jammeh assests.”
12. Again, Turo Darboe’s name connected to a drifter and drifting vehicle? Earlier, we received another tip that Turo has allegedly been a front for his brother and GRA boss Yankuba Darboe in operating some businesses. While we still treat all these as allegations until proven, the simple question remains what exactly does Turo Darboe do to make such money especially in a nose-diving Gambian economy where businesses don’t make much!
13. THE BOMBSHELL—we also received a tip that president Adama Barrow’s son is allegedly involved with the “drifters” that have now become a social menace and threat to life and property in The Gambia.
14. Is this why we keep hearing that certain culprits have been released from police custody; other cases being pushed under the rug  because of some so-called powerful families? Listen, none of these is a  rich kid or family! They are “Baadoleh” kids with perhaps some ill-gotten wealth belonging to tax-payers and now abusing power, infleunce, and privilege given to them by those same poor tax payers! We don’t think many Gambians really know what a real rich kid or family looks like when the Dalasi is one of the worst performing currencies in a pathetic economy run by pathetic, but corrupt behemoths!

Dear Adama Barrow, Yankuba Darboe, etc., we never opened this news site to earn a Butut (alhamdu lillaah!) We never received a dime from it! In fact, it’s really time-consuming to do what we’ve been doing.

And we spend our clean money on it. But if these allegations are true, please know that you have escalated the war you’ve been waging on Gambia’s poor, voiceless, and down-trodden.

Think of the poor woman selling “Mbahal” to feed probably her family or self. The “drifters” have injuriously interrupted that opportunity. Think of the school kid they also hit earlier on a school ground.

And think of the market women Adama Barrow and Yankuba Darboe’s gov’t kept rounding up, arresting, destroying their market stalls and tables with full military intimidation.

Like the Mbahal seller, these women were trying to put food on the table. First, your government’s dizzying height of corruption has made life extremely unbearable for these same women selling food just to conjure with the barely feasible.

Now they can’t even create simple opportunities for themselves to earn honest maintenance simply because sons acting like incestuous blood have been terrorizing them with abandon?

While we force back tears of both sympathy and anger as we write this, CURSED BE OUR SOUL IF WE FORGIVE ADAMA BARROW AND WHOEVER HELPS HIM SPREAD INJUSTICE AND CORRUPTION IN OUR LAND!
